How stone paper is made
Stone paper is manufactured from approximately 80% calcium carbonate (limestone) and 20% high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resin. The limestone is ground into a fine powder, mixed with the resin, and then rolled into thin, smooth sheets. No water, trees, acids, or optical brighteners are used in the process.
